 Dear Prospective
Student:
Thank you for your inquiry into Northwest Arkansas School of
Massage and Continuing Education Center. Massage therapy is an
exciting field offering so many different possibilities for a
wonderful lifelong career. We hope that you will take the time
to come see and talk with us regarding your future.
We offer a 500-hour program designed to prepare you for the
state board licensing exam, given shortly after graduation from
our program. Your course of study will include, but is not
limited to: basic massage technique, anatomy and physiology,
reflexology, proper hygiene protocol as well as law, ethics,
and business classes. The program is designed to take 5 months
to complete, three days a week.
To be eligible for admittance to the school, applicants must be
at least 18 years of age by the time of state board testing,
and the student must have a high school diploma or GED. A
certificate from the student’s physician stating that he/she is
free from all communicable diseases or contagious infection,
proof of a negative TB test, and two passport photos will also
be required.
An
application can be printed out from this website for when you are ready to begin the
process of changing your life by adopting massage therapy as
your career. Please realize that limited space is available for
each class, so reserving your space as soon as you know that
you are ready, will let you be on your way without chance of
delay.
Once we have received your application, I will call you to set
up your interview, where we can answer whatever questions you
may have as well as arrange a tour of the school. Looking
