Enertropic Therapy Workshop

| This course is
designed specifically for releasing tension and pain held in
the connective tissue of the body. This class will give you
some of the background and history of this work as well as
techniques you can incorporate in your present massage
immediately. This modality, when used correctly becomes a way
to quickly release acute pain and patterns of tension in the
musculature using specific focus points. Brenda Messling is on
of the co-founders of Enertropic therapy. This class is done
while clothed, no oils or lotions are needed. Please however,
wear soft clothing instead of jeans. Limit 18 students. |

Gentle Chair Massage

HIV/AIDS

| This class will
provide an overview of the lymphatic and immune systems of the
body and the biomechanics of how HIV affects these systems.
Representatives of OARS along with Carol Sturgis, Executive
Director of OARS (Ozark AIDS Resources and Services) will be
available to you as well as representatives from the AR State
Health Department. They will be available for any and all
questions you may have on this topic and they will bring you up
to date on everything that is happening both globally and
locally. The will also provide optional confidential and free
HIV screening during your break as part of your class tuition
if you would like. History of the disease, signs, symptoms,
transmission, prevention, contraindications. treatment and the
future of an AIDS vaccine will all be discussed. A portion of
your tuition is donated to OARS so that they can continue the
free services that they offer to our community. |

massage is an easily learned gentle, effective method for full
or partial application to a clothed or non-clothed recipient.
It is great for public demonstration and is a useful means of
incorporating table massage into sports events, fairs,

private practice it is good for clients who do not like oil, or
who are uncomfortable without clothing. |

An introduction
to Using Essential Oils in Your Therapeutic Massage Practice

therapeutic grade essential oils for use in their massage
practice. Students must possess previous anatomy and physiology
training. Students will learn how to choose the correct oil for
their client based on knowledge of oil properties, application

with hands-on experience to achieve the above objectives.
Students will as part their tuition receive products and
information covered in class from various companies to take
home with them to begin using this skill immediately within

| Traditional western
style Swedish massage is blended with the styling of Hawaiian
Lomi Lomi for a deep relaxation massage technique. The student
is taught flowing forearm techniques based on Lomi Lomi, but
which can be added immediately into the massage routine they
are already doing. This style is not meant to teach strictly a
full body Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage. Unlike traditional
Swedish, however, this class teaches the principles of working
both sides of the body at the same time, long movements
spanning more than one joint/body part within the same stroke,
draping variations to allow for these strokes, footwork beyond
the horse and archer stance to apply the long strokes and the
Lomi Lomi back stroke and it's variations. Hands-on experience
along with demonstration is used to achieve the above
objectives. |

course is designed for those wanting to incorporate a truly
effective essential oil therapy massage into their practice.
Originally developed by an essential oil company interested in
selling product, this popular technique has been modified to
incorporate and combine the experienced and professional
techniques of the licensed massage therapist with theory of the
application of the essential oils to the client, to affect a
positive systemic reaction. Using 6 different essential oils
and 1 essential oil blend, you will learn how each oil is
designed to work in conjunction with each other as well as
their benefits and contraindications. This is not a Young
Living Oils sales course! This class teaches you how to use any
therapeutic grade oil with safe therapist skill technique.
LIMIT: 12 students per class
Tuition includes detailed class
notes with all 7 full-sized oils to use in class (over
$100.00 in oils retail price). You will have enough left
over for several treatments that can be done in your practice
immediately. You should be able to recoup your tuition within
the first 2 client sessions and still have enough left over to
turn a profit on you education form this class without any
additional expense. |

In Return and
Return Again Techniques for Neck and Shoulders, participants
will learn a simple pattern of effective techniques that will
automatically bring them back repeatedly to the heavy tension
areas of the neck and shoulders. In Massage for Alleviation of
Headache and Sinus, participants will watch a demonstration of
and practice effective techniques for the alleviation of the
majority of headaches and/or congested sinus cavities.
Techniques are easy to learn and immediately incorporate into
one's practice.
This is a full one day seminar designed so that all 6 hours
must be taken together - student cannot take just one 3 hour
class. |
