Examination fee is payable to FSMTB: $195.00
National Certification Exam
This exam is optional in the state of Arkansas, and does not
mean that if you take it and pass it that you are licensed
nationally. This is only the name of the examination itself!
Licensure is a state by state regulation process. This exam is
required by some states other than AR, however. The current fee
at the time of printing is $225.00.
Financial Aid
Government grants and student loans are not available to
students attending programs 500 hours in length. As that is all
that AR requires for licensure, that is what we teach. We do
not add “filler-time” that the student ultimately ends up
paying extra for, even if they do qualify for financial aid.
Many of our students who applied for this elsewhere and would
have received it at other schools still would have to pay more
out of their own pocket than our tuition without financial aid
assistance. Our tuition is less than 1/2 of programs over 500
hours and require less time spent in school for graduation. At
only $9.60/hr., our tuition is the least expensive training in
the shortest amount of time that one can pay for to enter a
career that pays approximately $55.00/hour. Our school is
approved, however, for Veteran’s training through the GI bill
and funding through AR Rehabilitation Services for those who
qualify. |
